Tanks, pipes and pressure vessels

The Fiberglass Tank and Pipe Institute was incorporated in 1987 as a non-profit organization. Its' purpose is to provide a forum through which the fiberglass reinforced thermoset plastic ("FRP" or "RTP") industry can work together effectively toward the common goal of advancing the use of all fiberglass products in the tank and piping marketplace, i.e. coordinate market studies and statistics, combine talents and resources to provide standard-setting organizations with superior technical data and disseminate information to the government, industry and the public.

National Association of Corrosion Engineers

Dual Laminate Fabrication Association - DLFA was formed to promote the use of Dual Laminate structures composed of a thermoplastic liner over-wrapped with fiber glass reinforcement.

These structures have found uses in handling various types of corrosive liquids and gases as well as hi-purity liquids. Tanks, pipe, fittings, fume scrubbers and various other chemical vessels are made in this manner and provide a cost effective answer to the problems addressed.
