CTG specialises in filament winding processes and uses precise fibre placement methods in the manufacture of advanced composite products. The business has demonstrated technical innovation and secured valuable IP in meeting the challenge of how a composite part can be joined to a metal part or structure without diminishing its strength or performance. It has developed, tested and marketed a unique press-fit system that requires no adhesive and thus has a much reduced risk of failure.
