Lawrie Technology, Inc. (LTI) specializes in the optimization of both the structural design and manufacturing process for parts made from advanced composite materials. This is accomplished utilizing state-of-the-art fabrication, testing and analysis facilities housed in an 18,000 square foot industrial space. Specialty manufacturing equipment includes a 20,000 pound pultrusion line equipped with world-leading injection technology, 4-and 5-axes CNC filament winding machines capable of manufacturing parts within an 8 foot diameter by 15 foot long envelope, and a 900 cubic feet walk-in vacuum infusion oven. Testing equipment includes universal testing machines having load capabilities ranging from 10 grams full scale up to 60,000 pounds full scale. Design and analysis software includes SolidWorks® solid modeling software and the ANSYS® finite element suite of programs.
