Computer Numerical Control (CNC) is used by a class of machines that can perform sophisticated and precise drilling and milling work. Invaluable for their adaptability and accuracy, Hoosier uses CNC machines to create molds, dies, or other types of workpieces for a wide range of applications.
Thermo/Vacuum forming uses heat, atmospheric pressure and molds to force plastic sheets into whatever shape is required. A common method for mass production of plastic parts, we mill our own molds and use a wide range of forming techniques depending upon the client specifications.
Diecutting and Stamping
Diecutting and Stamping is one of the most common ways to mass produce shapes and structures from metal or plastic. Hoosier makes its own dies and forms, and can manufacture with a very wide range of materials.
Assembly/Fabrication is where parts are put together to create the final product. Hoosier is often called upon to fabricate very complicated and intricate pieces requiring dozens of parts produced in-house. The vital completion stage is quality control where we ensure that all pieces meet client specifications.
